I got many negative responses to my Marathon Type Training Blog Post.

Marathon Training Proves Cardio Has Major Flaws

And your opinions are always welcomed.

If i’m going to put my opinion online then you can too!

With that in mind I just had to post this pic I found online as a picture is worth a thousand words.

This is exactly what I saw when I watched the Marathon a few weeks ago.

Person after person passing by with very little muscle and way too much fat.

And considering how hard they train this should not be.

How can this be?

It’s simple. Long distance running eats up muscle which slows your metabolism.

Less Muscle = More Fat

Like I said in my Marathon Training Post:

Even high school sprinters look better than elite marathoners and that says a lot.

So if your goal is muscle building and fat loss you high intensity exercises like Stairs, Hill Sprints or Resistance Training are the way to go!
